THE GARDEN
IS FRONTIER SHAPED
AND UNNECESSARY

 
And filled with blood
from courageous
sport. The landscape
is fasting
prosperously. The
dead flowers are
quickly standing still.
Old men whisper
booze-sonnet
analogues into the
bushes at night and
vomit porcelain drugs
onto the branches.
Above, the sky is
small and jeweled and
merciless as a fur-
lined ready-made.
